SUBSTITUTIONS AND RETURNS
We do reserve the right to make similar substitutions and do find the need to at various times throughout the year. Not all packaging may look identical to the products photographed as designer packaging does change quite frequently with supply and design change. With this in mind, please be aware that a substitution or slight difference in flavor or packaging does not justify an item being returned at our expense, a discount or refund of any kind. If for any reason other than damages or errors on the part of ItsAGiftBasket.com a customer wants to return a gift basket, they may do so at their own shipping expense, MINUS an additional 25% restocking fee deducted from your credit back to you. Shipping cost originally to you or the recipient and then back to us IS NOT REFUNDABLE.

APO, FPO & PO Box Shipping
We do offer shipping to all APO, FPO and PO Boxes. However, all these shipments take the standard one to two days to ship out! In addition, there are no loss claims, late delivery refunds or damage claims honored under any circumstances! When it comes to shipping out through the military, they are on their own time schedule with their planes once UPS or Post Office delivers to the military mail relay stations. You place these orders at your own risk. Some basket items are not eligible to ship to military bases, so if there is a problem with items in the basket, we will call you and you can ask about a different basket. There is no time guarantee when it comes to military shipping. When shipping to any and all Military bases the proper zip and address format are:
· AE (Armed Forces Europe/ Canada/ Middle East/ Africa) -09XXXX
· AP (Armed Forces Pacific) 96XXX
· AA (Armed Forces Atlantic) 34XXX
· Please make sure when ordering, that your zip code matches the above formats for your military division.

Will my gift come nicely packaged?
We do everything possible to ensure your gifts arrive to your recipient in excellent condition. Each gift basket is personally created, wrapped in shrink-wrap, topped with a handmade bow and wrapped with tissue paper before being placed in a perfect-sized box. We then pack your gifts into strong cardboard boxes, place plenty of packing materials around it to eliminate shifting during transport. We also put large, red "Fragile" and "Please handle with care" stickers on all our boxes to ensure it isn't mishandled. Our goal is for your gift to arrive looking just as beautiful as it did when it left our hands. We do this for each and every order we receive.
Will you let me know when my order has shipped out?
After we have shipped your order, you will receive an email shipping notification that will include any tracking information. Once you place your order and check off the terms and conditions box as you check out, your order will be downloaded and shipped out the next 24 48 hours. For example, you place an order on Monday, your ground order will be shipping out on Tuesday or Wednesday morning. Next day, 2nd day, priority etc…we download orders 24 hours later for shipping out that day. We do not ship out orders the exact day you placed the order. We need 24 48 hours before shipping out ground and 24 hours for all other methods. We do not ship out on Saturday or Sundays…Orders placed on those days, ship out Monday or Tuesday depending on method required.
What if I do not receive an email notification?
This may mean you did not fill in your e-mail address correctly or not at all. If you are not sure, please call us at 401-398-0972 Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 AM EST to 5:00 PM EST and we will be happy to assist you. If your call can not be answered at that time, our customer service reps are on the phone with other people or in our store helping customers…please leave a message and we will get back to you. A faster way of getting help is by email…your email will be answered quite fast! Where do you ship?
Currently we offer shipping within the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii, to all APO, AE, FPO and PO Boxes. We DO NOT ship to international locations at this time…Alaska, Hawaii do have higher shipping rates. APO, FPO and PO Boxes are automatically billed as Priority Air Mail and you must check out as such. There is NO GROUND service to any Military address, Alaska or Hawaii. These address entries have shipping rates which will be applied. See our rate box to be aware of shipping rates to these destinations. If you check out and press ground for the above mentioned, the additional rates will be automatically BILLED to your credit card. We will not call you…these are the shipping rules.
Ship to/ Recipient address information:
It is your responsibility to provide us with complete and accurate delivery information. This should include:· Recipients full first and last name. · Company name. (if applicable) · Street number and street name. (UPS does not accept PO BOXES….every address, EXCEPT Military addresses need an exact street address too)· Suite number, apartment number or floor number. · City, state and accurate zip code.
Can I change the shipping address on my order?
If your gift has already been picked up by the parcel delivery company, we can not change the address. If for some reason you have provided incorrect or incomplete delivery information, we will have to contact UPS/FedEx and attempt to correct this. However we can’t guarantee this will be possible and there will be a $10.00 fee assessed to your credit card for this error. That is what UPS charges us for address errors if caught in time and if they can change it…again, we can not guarantee that we will be able to do this with UPS or FedEx due to time constraints. UPS and Fed Ex charge us for any correction which may need to be made to the delivery information. Usually this fee is assessed because of incorrect zip codes being provided, so please check your delivery zip code for accuracy prior to placing your order.Can I cancel my order after it has shipped? We do not allow cancellation of an order unless it has been canceled in email WITHIN 12 HOURS OF placing your order by internet. For example, you place an order at 4:00 pm…you have 12 hours from that point to cancel the order BY EMAIL ONLY! This records the time you emailed us to cancel. If the email comes in after the 12 hour period, no cancellation can occur. However, you may return the gift at your own expense and receive a 75% refund on the basket. Everything, including the basket, must be in pristine and unused condition…unwrapping, missing items, etc will not be refunded at all. SHIPPING TO AND FROM IS NOT REFUNDABLE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES IN THIS INSTANCE EXCEPT A DELIVERY MISTAKE ON OUR PART. (A full refund on the basket items is not offered because we can not reuse any food products found in the gift. We must throw it all away and the rest of the items must be restocked and re-entered in the database, which all takes time and manpower.
Can you ship Chocolate and fruit gifts in warm summer months?
During the summer months, we must include ice packs in all our chocolate and perishable fruit gifts. To ensure fresh delivery of fruit and chocolate or baked good items we ship: Monday and Tuesday via 2-day or Next Day, Wednesday 2-day or Next Day and Thursday Overnight Only shipping. Shipping these gifts on Friday is not possible. There is no ground service available for perishable items in the summer. Be aware too that it might be hotter in other parts of the country where you are shipping the chocolates etc…not just from where you are ordering from. Although it is a bit more costly to ship air, it is the only way to ensure your gifts arrive fresh and in perfect condition.
